Hello everyone, new TacomaWorld user here. I’m hoping someone here has experience taking apart or at least working on the the gear shift transmission linkage and can offer some advice. Is it at all possible to relocate the gear selector assembly? I’m trying to absolutely maximize the interior of my Tacoma for various reasons, but also prefer dash/column mounted shifters and am just curious if it’s possible to change where the gear selector sits, via modification of course. If so, what should i expect if i wanted to attempt this? I’m aware it may be quite complicated for a seemingly menial outcome, but i plan on keeping my truck til it dies, so if i can be more comfortable in it any way possible, it’s worth it to me. Thanks in advance to all that may be able to help.
