BP med? Benecar taker here. Makes me feel cold in the winter…

 

I had the cough from Lisinopril and malaise from a cholesterol med. I had a doc once tell me that any med is a bit of poison to your body but hopefully the benefits outweigh the side effects.

 

Yep, I’m on Amlodipine-Besylate amongst other goodie’s for various aliments. Atorvastation for cholesterol, makes me ache.

 

Have fun, you’ll make the best of it, at least you’re not at work.

an acquaintance in high school faked a seizure.... I forget the reason (attention or get out of something I suppose)... and Minnesota took his license away for a year. Kid never was very smart.

 

Got a little bit of rain. Marias Pass and portions of the swans had a foot. I know we're still way down on SWE around the basins.

 

Lisinopril (dry cough doesn't bug me) and Carvedilol (Coreg) amongst other drugs for me. Don't need the pill box. yet! There are days though where I wonder if I took all the pills! Yes the drugs are basically poison, but ... damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Glad everyone is safe and minor damage at most from the tornados. My brother supposedly had one 5 miles from his place in Waxhaw NC the other day. I was reading that the US set a record for number of tornadoes during April and that we've had at least one every day for the last 15 setting another record. Haven't heard if there were any today.

Good evening everyone. It's almost Friday, 9 more hrs of stupidity tomorrow then some self inflicted stupidity of my own.

I got a replacement engine for the firewood truck, the old granny gear 4 speed is in really sad shape. I found a dude with a complete NV4500 ( HD 5 speed trans) & t-case, driveshafts ect... for a cheaper price then getting the 4 speed rebuilt. The catch- it's outside of Richmond, so my dumb ass will be leaving around 6 am on Saturday to drive to Richmond, load the Taco with GMC parts ( ) to fix a 36 year old beater truck.. makes perfect sense if you don't think about it.

Thanks for that, Wessa! It's going to be in the md 40's tomorrow night. I will have to flip the HVAC back to 'heat' mode again.

Since we're talking about meds , I take daily these meds listed below

Carbidopa 25 / Levodopa 100mg tablets 2-1/2 pills 4x's per day

Propanolol HCL 20mg Twice a day

Cyanocobalamin 1000mg 1 per day


The Carbidopa / Levadopa meds are for my Parkinson's disease

The Propanolol is a blood press med and also used to control tremors

The Cyanocobalamin is for my blood

 

VA approved treatment for stress.

I’m fortunate that I don’t have any prescribed medication. I take a multivitamin every morning and that’s it. I’m sure the day will come…
