I was in need of new transportation as my last truck ( 2003 Dakota 4x4 Grey Quad Cab ) is getting on in age . I drove it and worked out of it for 19 years. My search for a truck that I hope to not have to work too much on led me to a Tacoma. Started looking into them a few years ago but the time was not yet right to buy. Got serious in March 2024 and began exhausting search for semi late model , low miles, clean as possible, no upfront body or paint issues. Looked and test drove and was disappointed and searched more. Finally found what I thought could be the one, and after dealing with the insane dealer games, 2 weeks ago became the proud owner of a 2021 Super White TRD Sport DC RWD. Haven’t been able to personally clean it inside and out but it’s dealer clean. The pic I have is from the night I brought it home so no great photos until later. I really dig the IBoard running boards, aluminum frame with black linear tread on top. I had no control over what was done by previous owner but it’s a mix of good and bad. There were little round mirrors stuck to the side mirrors ( removed by me), and I’m pretty sure they stuck on chrome colored door handle covers ( I can see the color matched underneath ) I really don’t like them ( will remove if stick on type. ) Also there is double pin stripe that kinda looks okay on this truck, but I don’t think any Tacoma’s had factory pin stripe? Now I know the Sports came with the chrome tailight trim but there is also chrome trim completely around tailgate handle and camera area. I wasn’t initially looking for White but this one was 19,500 miles and a really clean vehicle. I’ve since come to think it’s kinda nice. Feel free to comment nicely, I just turned 60 , so I really don't let negativity bother me anymore. Happy that I’m finally part of TW! 0F06C3CC-D146-499C-B718-8EE52ECC5BCF.jpg

Congratulations! Welcome to TacoWorld, home of the big burrito. Looks great to me!

I'd try & get rid of the chrome, also. Maybe leave the chrome on the tailpipe. I have a super white, also.

You should be able to get it to your liking with little effort. I like the wheels.

I've had mine since brand new, no problems whatsoever. We're here if you have any questions.

Happy birthday! I'm 2 years your junior. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Nice, it'll give you at least another 19 years.

NICE! You'll appreciate white when it's hot outside too......reflects the heat very well. I'm a big fan of the 3rd Gen body style. Always will be. Not bashing the '24, but Tacos have always been very distinctive until this year. I turn 62 next month, so I'll be keeping my eye on you youngsters closely. :p

Ain't it the truth? I never realized just how detrimental my Tacoma was going to be to my savings. Damn mods! And this board doesn't help. Every time I log in, I end up ordering something. Ya'll need to stop!

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
Congrats on the new Taco! Not sure if you have seen it yet, and I don't know all the years it applies to, but apparently Super White paint is prone to problems. It may be worth doing a good detail and getting some kind of paint protection on it early.

Welcome to TW, lock your wallet!

This is true. They used water-based paint as opposed to solvent based & no clear coat. WTF!

Mine is holding up fine. Your mileage may vary :)
