Little button on side of dash?

What is this small round stick on button? Found one on both sides of dash. One fell off. I don't recall seeing them before.

 

It's just a rubber pad to keep the door panel from rubbing the dash, my truck has them.

 

It's the microphone that Toyota uses to listen to what you say while driving.

 

Yeah was starting to get paranoid thinking it was some kind of tracking device. lol

Mandatory listening device installed on all vehicles,that is what the big stink was about the NSA keeping track of all the American terrorists in this country.

 

Given the current government running this country I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

 

Just ask that former NSA American guy in Russia about the NSA spying on its citizens
