1st Gen Tacoma Climate Control 02 4runner faceplate/LED swap

    1st post, not very well versed in write ups, or forum posting for that matter. Seems like every post about getting rid of the orange climate control faceplates on Tacomas involves swapping the faceplate from an 02 4runner only. The only way I could get one was to buy a whole climate control unit for 150 bucks and it turns out there is a lot more orange you can do away with.

    You will need a soldering iron and copper braid w/flux to swap the factory A/C-Recirc LEDs. I do a lot of electronics modding and repair so I have a high dollar desoldering gun. Everything else is pretty self explanatory. Just a matter of swapping the orange diffusers out for the clear ones.
