How much are old wheels/tires worth?

Please remove this if this is the wrong place, but I am looking to sell (locally) the old set of wheels and tires that came on my truck when I bought it. They are (I think) Helo HE791 Maxx wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires (265/70R17).The tires have a fair amount of wear on them, and the wheels aren't new by any means. I was hoping to see if anyone had a ballpark estimate on what I should list for on FB marketplace. Appreciate the time.

 

Probably easiest to price it for a quick sale and not have them sit around? I'd say $150 but that's just me.

 

Facebook marketplace and offerup.com have alot on them.

 

I got my 18 OEM wheels listed for $300 ($100 less than the cheapest listing and still haven't sold them yet). I get super low ball offers which I suspect the person still just flip them. I believe they go for $200 each Brand new.

 

OP... what's the manufacture date of the tires?

 

Looks like they were made in 2015 - thanks for this piece of info. Was not aware tires had mfg dates on them. Based on this, will drop price drastically since tires are almost at that 10 year mark.

 

Their scrap value +$50.
And I'm not saying this to be rude.
You're listing them on Facebook - Market Place after all.
I'm just setting you up for the reality of what's to come.
Most of the people that will respond, will offer a shitty trade or low ball you.

I’d list them for $150 on FB and take $80 cash.

 

Now, if you removed the junk tires, I’d list them for $300 to see if someone really wants the chrome and be very flexible on low-ball prices.

Location will play a factor as well.

I’d be interested just to get off my stock rims but am sure with my luck you are no where near me.
