I've had the DD SS3 Pro's W/ backlight for almost a year now. Of course, no plug and play for backlight. I'm glad I finally found your solution. I bought their short extra harness and they came with longer wires with 1/4 spade connecter with a purple sleeve protector that is zip tied up behind the headlights and all is useless to me right now. My question is... what do I need for backlight function? 1 driver side and 1 passenger side harness? Does your harness work with the longer DD harness's with 1/4 spade connectors from the fogs up to headlights? or does your kit come with wires long enough to go from each fog to each Headlights? I'm all in for your solution, just not sure what I need. Thanks in advance.

If your truck came with OEM LED headlights with C shaped DRL then you’d get one or two LED T harnesses and a DD ss3 harness. If one LED then you want the dual output SS3 w 12” and 60”. If two led T’s then you’d go with the two 12” single option on the SS3’s. You remove the spade connector piece and connect directly at the 1 pos AMP connector for a waterproof solution.

Thanks again. Just ordered. I will be happy to finally having the backlight feature working.

    Hey @daveeasa

Do you have product links to LED Headlight to SS3 Back light harnesses? Id like to be able to use each headlight individually and not run wires accross the front. Thank you in advance

Hello @daveeasa I was wondering if you can help me out. I’m new to TW. I had an SR with Anzo USA headlights that were pretty much plug and play to the OEM SR harness. I recently traded it in for a 22 TRD OR has the halogen with C shaped LEDs harness is totally different. I was wondering if you make a harness where I’ll still be able to use the Anzo headlights in this new model?

Not only do I not make a harness but I will also go so far as to tell you that what you are considering doing is an exceptionally bad downgrade from the best performing headlights you can get for your truck which came on it from the factory.

I’d advise that you read the 3rd gen lighting thread:

I think you misunderstood. I have aftermarket ANZO USA headlights LEDs that I wanted to install on my 2022 TRD OR but the wiring is that of a SR. I’m not trying to downgrade I’m trying to upgrade my OEM OR lights to the aftermarket ANZO USA headlights.

I understood what you wrote. That is a downgrade. Please read the thread. Aftermarket headlights perform significantly worse than OEM.

@daveeasa YouTube led me to Reddit, which led me here via Google

I have these stock headlights in my truck and it’s time to replace them.

I want to install these OEM led head lights from the 2023

I understand you’re the go to guy to make this possible, yea?
