    The likely answer is Semi-Metallic.

    I went with Ceramic.
    Mostly because I don’t like brake dust and they tend to last longer.

    Same here. the ACT976 are dead quiet, leave no brake dust and seem to be kinder to the rotors. I have a brand new second that will go in when these wear out. Maybe I don't drive it really hard but haven't noticed any difference in performance to the OEM (which for my 2015 are also ceramic)

    2008 Tacoma TRD Sport Access Cab 4.0L V6 VVT-i6spd manual
    Just replaced calipers, pads, shims, springs and the Z shaped lines to the calipers, all brand new OEM, burnished them in with five sets of 35mph to 10mph hard braking, full 4 wheel bleed, new Dot 3 Toyota fluid flush, good to go!
