That my front crossmember (not the main one) the one steering rack mounts to, is Swiss cheese because of apparently rust and poor quality steel from Toyota? But this is a southern truck and there’s no rust anywhere else. So far doesn’t seem to impact the truck but I’m not exactly sure if my steering geometry is affected. So far, tire wear seems normal after buying this truck a couple of months ago and replacing tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, CV joints and axles, rotors, calipers, brake pads and now inner Rack tie rod components.
