Hello everyone, I'm new to Tacoma World and seeking assistance. I own a 2013 Tacoma prerunner SR5. I recently replaced the left side rear light cover. Now, I have an issue that not sure how to fix. When I put on turn signal, the rear left break light blinks, and when I press the breaks, the left turn signal lights up, sort of reverse. Right side is fine. Wiring diagram seems OK. This baffles me. Any ideas what is causing this? Any assistance is appreciated.

Putting the bulbs in the wrong sockets would do that.

Weren't the 2013 truck LED tail lights?

I'd like to know what brand light was put in?
Wouldn't surprise me if the cheap Amazon/eBay junk were wired wrong.

Not mine. Maybe because I'm a 5 lug? But I thought they stopped those a few years prior to '13. They were pretty ugly.

Plus the OP said he replaced the light cover, not the bulbs. (Which I recently did myself due to a crack)

I would think OP would notice if the bulb were in the wrong spot?
But hey, you never know. Even I make mistakes like that.
I'd compare what bulbs in what spots did what. Compare Left to Right.

    Maybe check the connection?
The Left Turn Signal is the YELLOW wire, the Stop light is BLUE.
    Turn Pin- 1
    Stop Pin - 4

Thanks everyone for your input. I don't recall if the cover came with new wires of if I used the original one. Lucky, I saved the old cover.
