I want a lift- 3”

what brand do yall suggest? I’m new to this. Something not over the top expensive but willing to pay a decent amount for something good quality!

You've got many options! A good problem to have. Sounds like this will be more for aesthetics. I'd consider the good ol' bilstein 5100 or eibach if all you want is 3" lift

 

2-2.5 is considered a better target because of less strain on the front geometry, in particular CV joints.

Remember that suspension lifts do not raise the low point of the vehicle, that being the axle lines. Only the radius of a taller tire does that.

It really depends what you want to do with your truck and how much you wanna spend. If it’s mainly a daily driver you’d go with one set, maybe Bilstien 6110/5160 or Eibach 2.0, in the up to 1500 (I think) price range. If you wanna spend a little more there is the Fox 2.5 or Dobinson MRR. The Dobinson have 3 adjustment knobs that you can use to change the ride. Those kits are 2-3K I think. Then you’d need new leaf packs or blocks.

Is $600 per inch “over the top”?
Because any decent 3” lift with the correct components will run that or more.
