That looks awesome. Do you have a link to the mount? I couldn't find it on the MESO site. And I'd like to protect my knees.

Maybe @Chrislz can help. I bought it from him. I don't see the item on MESO website

I really don't know what got into me, but my 60k oil change I tried the method of not using the drain nipple and save this step but created a big mess all over my floor and all over my skid plate top side that I had to clean up with a dozen paper towels. So my point, I'm going to keep draining it like I always have so I don't make a mess. Cheers. I think CCN has the advantage of having a professional oil catch, and hundreds of free clean absorbent shop towels at his disposal to smooth the edges of a messy oil change. Not for me.20240512_114258.jpg 20240512_114703.jpg 20240512_114712.jpg

I've only driven 4 miles with them on so far. Fit is pretty good, think I need some more seat time to be sure.

Wrapped my hood as well and it does wonders to cut down the glare.

My wife was diagnosed with Lyme's Disease. She didn't feel any effects for years but is starting to now. The harm ticks can do should not to be underestimated.

Glad to hear it. That was the main goal. Wife has gnarly migraines triggered by glare so that hood was killing her on road trips.

They have a strange life cycle as well. Like some years are big nymph years and you won’t see them as well. Nymphs are tiny but have most of the diseases. Sorry to hear about your spouse. I have a friend with Lyme disease, she does a lot of holistic medicine for it.

I see your point for sure. I guess if one was truly concerned that they might be damaging the bypass valve in the filter housing, they could replace it (the housing) every 10 or so oil changes. Being a glutton for punishment, I'm going to try the no-drain-filter method once to see how bad it is.
    Peace and Love

My wife was unaware she was bit until tested, who knows who long after. I tend to check myself every time after coming in from the woods. It is odd, we ran around in the woods and high grass all the time as a child and nobody ever spoke about it or seemed to get it.

Same here , I usually have a 10% permethrin spray from the farm store I mix up and spray down before going out foraging every year.
