Exhaust spring bolt rattle

    Just replaced everything from the spring bolts (including the gasket) down but having an issue at the connection. Because the welded nuts were corroded on the spring bolts I ground them down and used new nuts to lock in. I’ve tried several levels of tightening the new bolts but the rattle only gets worse.

    is my best/only option to cut the ends off and install a small flex pipe with clamps?
