I am looking to do the first ATF change at 75,000 miles in my 2015 4.0 L. Any concerns about doing this 15,000 miles after recommend 60,000 maintenance interval? I've watched several videos on making sure I get the fluid level correct and will use Toyota's WS fluid.

Nah you're good to go. Just be sure to free up the check plug first incase its stuck. Its a little late, but nothing serious by any stretch.

    I did mine at 100k.
    I’m at 170k now.

    So far, so good.

Don’t be me. I was misinformed.
Toyota updated their recommendations later on.
It used to be 100k, or depending on what dealership you called, Never.

Yes, I called. Because my dumbass couldn’t find the dipstick to check the fluid.

I flushed my @90k and just flushed again at 150k and it was really clean. I’ll continue flush every 60k going forward. May be getting a Intech trailer if so then I’ll flush every 30k instead.

I don't know how you plan to do the temp check?
If you go with an external pan temp. the Temp is 97-115 degrees.
The DIY on this site has the wrong temperature range listed.
(We need to get a moderator to fix that)

And yes, I know that's not the right way to do it.
But that's how some guys do it.

I have a beater 1999 2.4L 2WD Taco (my backup ride) with the auto trans. 162K on the ODO without any ATF changes. (I bought it used at 142K.) Works fine. It's on my to-do list to change the ATF but the point is, going 15K past the suggested ATF maint interval on most automatic Toyota transmissions isn't going to hurt anything.

I did mine at 207k and now I am at 317k. I bought mine with 206k miles and no trans service per service history. I have been all around the US since. Not advising for anyone to do that with high miles but I took a chance.

I can attest to changing mine super late. Wont hurt a thing as long as you dont have any transmission issues. First ever time mine was serviced was at 209k.
