    1995 5VZ-FE Single Cab SX
Hello members and thank you for the wealth of knowledge!

I have an advanced Land Cruiser addition that crosses over into the 5VZ-FE/R150F space.

I recently bought what was left of a 1995 Tacoma single cab with said combo, and thanks to this forum I've learned it is a "SX" because of what is left of the graphics. It isn't currently running but that should be fixed in short order. The cab's condition is rated as, "still there" and it is missing a bed and many important parts of the frame. It looks like the clearcoat wasn't applied similar to Land Cruisers of the era and the red paint has faded to a neat matte orange. It was retired running when the original gas tank leaked and the previous owner tore apart the bed (literally, not sure what that was about) and fuel system before giving up. We did some horrible things to the rear brakes to get it on the trailer and the clutch is stuck (already have list of things to try thanks to this forum).

This is going to be the perfect "UTV" for me and my property and will give me so much more satisfaction than actual UTVs. It will probably coast into retirement wearing a flatbed and a plow mount, but maybe if I find the right frame donor or determine it somehow recoverable I'll get it back on the road where it should be. I already have everything from tiny Blizzaks to 35"s on sets of 6x139.7 wheels so lots of fun things to try once it is running.

I look forward to continuing to benefit from you all and contribute back as I learn things.
