Well something weird happened today, I turn on my headlights and my rear tail light is out and the mirror light stays on consistently plus my license plate light also. The blinker on the left hyper flashes when the headlights are on but is fine when just the DRL's are on. The right side is perfectly fine with no issues. I had gone and wired some ditch lights on the truck but never touched anything or cut anything that was related to the lights. Was just a plug and play situation (and adding a ground to the ground bolt under the hood). I had to re wire the rear left ground because the same thing happened a bit ago, once that was re done the issue went away. When I re wired the ground wire the other wires were in bad shape too, im wondering if those wires would be the issue or the ground i added for the ditch lights is the problem? I was planning on re wiring from the main wiring harness back to the tail lights soon but if it doesnt need to be done now then ill wait. Here are pictures below with headlights on. Any advice for this or opinions?

Disconnect you ditch light wiring see if anything changes for starters. Have you checked your tail light bulbs? In some instances when that light is on you can get the fast signal blink to indicate a light is out. Never had a bulb out on my truck so can't comment if this is the case or not.

I did that earlier and ditch wiring wasn’t the problem. I went to go look near the taillight wiring and found a huge mess of wires. I rewired everything and it seemed to have fixed itself for now atleast i’ll keep testing it to see if that’s the route of the cause. The wires were poor put together and had no flex tubing and were corroded and caked with mud

It’s true 1 of my drl/blinker bulbs went out and it caused the blinker to flash real fast on the dash and the tail light. The drl/blinker bulb stayed solid with no flashing when the blinker was on. Replaced it and it was good to go.
