Flipping side windows?

I have a first gen Tacoma with what I assume is a leer 100r.

Like most, I hate the side windows and wish I had the windoors. However, making the switch is just too expensive.

I have two ideas, but want to see if anyone has any thoughts. I am way too much of a DIYer to fork over the money to buy new glass.

1. IF the radius are the same front and back, could I flip them from one side to another and also upside down? (thus allowing the forward window to side instead of the rearward). I could see two problems with this. There appear to be weep holes at the bottom of the frame that would then be at the top. Also, the front glass is outside of the rearward glass, and if they were flipped, I could see water entering the overlap area as I drive as it would be facing forward instead of rearward.

2. Fabricate custom aluminum flip up cargo doors and frames. I have looked and looked, but can't find anyone who has attempted this.

At the end of the day I just want to be able to access the bed from the side... specifically the front of the bed.

Search for another shell with windoors and either swap the whole shell or just the windows. I agree, had 2 shells with windoors and they are awesome!
