I'll be quick.. took my troka to a toyo service center. Did some test head gasket is shot. It's drivable still, but warm ups are really rough... I think I'm leaning toward changing the engine myself. It's a v6 2002 3.4. How hard really is to just to do a swap out? Do I have to program anything when I'm done before I can drive? Truck has no rust, out side paint is like new. Mi troka has 234000 on it. I don't want to just throw in the towel and call it quits yet. Also!! Do you recommend ebay engines??

If you have the time, and willing to do it yourself, just replacing the head gaskets themselves is not that hard and cheaper than a total motor replacement. I did mine within 3 days. But I also understand everybody’s situation is different.

Head gasket is not too hard to change. I've changed many. Hardest part is taking it apart & remember where everything goes.

Get a good torque wrench & tighten in a "star" pattern to specs. DON'T go to fleabay for anything! Good Luck :)
