Good day from eastern Washington. I should have joined this forum long ago! 2002 Gen 1, 4-door "Crew Cab" SR5, 3.6L TRD, bought 21 years ago (2nd owner) with about 15K miles on it. This is the fourth in a continuous line of Toyota vehicles I've owned since 1984 and the longest-kept. It's been my incredibly reliable "other" vehicle, the hauler/tow-er/mountain dirt-road/fill the bed with rocks and dirt/do everything truckster. Not a wanna-be Tundra, this has been the perfect fit for my outdoor adventures and several moves. Also my sure-footed winter driving machine through many desert SW and PNW winters (with many trips to the ski slopes), including a couple of stout seasons with record snowfall and sub-zero temps. Has always come through whatever nature could throw at it and pressed on without a hesitation. Routine maintenance only and a few add-ons. I've resisted the urge to "trade up" to anything else because I just can't justify the cost when it runs so damn well, and have always said it would be the last vehicle I'd sell. Anyway, I'm glad to be in good company and will post more after I look around the forum some more.
