    Received a phone call from a friend who drove past my house and saw a dead bear not far over the bank of the road . Went up to check it out and P-U . Could smell it as soon as I stepped out of my truck, been there a few days at least . Nasty . Went home and called the NYSDEC to report it . Guy on the phone said he would make a report but it’s up to the town or county road crew if it will be removed . I’m assuming it was hit by a car . I will go back in a couple months for the skull . I have a feeling no one will touch it . I’m hoping it’s not the mother with 2 cubs I have pictures of . It’s only a few hundred yards from my trail camera. :(

    I generally do purdy good fishing an 1/8oz jig against the rocks...not the case today. So I went old school and threw on the ugliest spinnerbait I could find and went to the trees (cuz feesch luv em sum shade), caught bout 14 around them trees. No big uns tho.
