I wish I had taken a pic for you. It is up in the hole that you reach up through to remove the drain plug. If I were worried and was driving it on a rough trail I don’t think I would install one. Maybe another brand that is more of a flush mount.

Uh oh, you may have just started something. There was another thread on this topic that went the usual way of online opinions.

Ive had the same one on my truck and the wifes subaru for over a year no complaints, seemed more secure and better built over the ones with the lever. Even if this one leaks it has another sealed cap

I’ve had one on my other truck for 7 years without a problem. I put one on my parents Wrangler several years ago and it’s been good there too. I just installed one on my Tacoma last weekend and so far no problem. There is two versions available for our pickups. One with a nipple to hook a drain hose to and one without. I personally don’t think our pickups need a drain hose because of how it’s situated. With either version there should be no clearance concerns since the valve still sits above the skid plate.

I just dont know the average/expected use life on the parts. Obviously using something creates wear. But I feel like having all the load constantly going to the box and cv axles etc would be putting a lot of wear on them.

No problem! Glad they could live on, loved them while I ran them for the short period that I did. Enjoy!

Bringing the 8 year old paint back to life? Or, were the items repainted?

super quiet so far - probably quieter than the stock tires. But they are still brand new. I’ve heard good things about these tires though.

Fit a 34 inch spare in the stock location! It’s tight and might need some heat wrap on the exhaust but it fits! Fully deflated though

The truck was in an accident back in 2017, it was fixed at toyota and the color match was good but they never polished it out. Those were the two panels that looked off, but im doing the whole truck, now it looks near perfect.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
I went to the dump! 3rd gen Toyota Truck.
