Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Going to be a hot weekend, with no rain. Think I'm going to power wash the vehicles, and maybe some house. Thought it might be the pool day, but the temp has dropped from 82 to 78 with the rain and winds. 80 is the magic number, but 82 is happy!

 

I just went to one couple days ago for x-ray, hope everything goes well with you.

Once I get the farm ready, I’m gonna have another ceramic cooker. BGE or similar.

Good morning. Yesterday was great and fun to be with the family. Today is about starting the garden and going out to music this afternoon. The rain and wetness just will not go away.

We went to the river last night and didn't get a single walleye!
I did catch a shad that was about 10" long and was the smallest shad that I have ever seen by far. There are a couple of different types of shad, it's possible it was a hickory shad instead of an American shad, but I'm not familiar enough with them to say that it was.

And as wife was leaving this am to pick some peaches, found cat food puke all over the back window of the RAV4. Didn't look random. Clean up on driveway 1 please.

On to power wash! I forgot when I had to fix the carb the other year, this choke bar (which HAS to be used in starting) just floats on a spri ng - have to hold it. Which you can't do while pulling rope. So, I made it manual for the 3 seconds it has to be pushed in when starting.



I also broke down and got one of these spinny things (Amazon's choice), and am giving it a test on the driveway. Cleans? Yes! Steering runoff is a learning experience!

Good morning. Off to the gym then on to my sisters. I have a CAT Scan this afternoon. No caffeine for me today. I had fruit for breakfast. Drinking plenty of water.

 

Morning everybody! Got back from fishing in Delaney Lakes near Walden, CO. Very very slow fishing. 4 of us struggled and only managed to catch 6 fish, but no one got skunked. Winds were high by 9:00 am and didn’t stop until after 10:00 pm! Made for tough casting. Still fun to be with friends.
Here’s my only fish a 20+” brown. Thinner than they use to be. Maybe just early in the season.

Good to read about all you folks who feed the birds!
