Hello all, 2019, I4, x-cab. Recently on a drive mostly highway for some reason the road noise from the back got my attention. Has anyone had any actual success with reducing the in cab road noise ? I don't think I want to try the pool noodle idea. I am interested in sound deadening but it seems to get mixed reviews as to if it reduces the road noise or not. Any help/comments is appreciated.

I used to frequently bump the switch for the little sliding window and crack it open. Check that just to rule out the simple option.

as for worth it to sound deaden, it takes a lot of work and a lot of material to make a meaningful difference. If you just slap a few sheets on the back wall, you may not notice a difference

It’s worth it if you do it right. But the amount of work and cost may not be worth the results.

hop on YouTube and there are plenty of videos on the process. See if it’s a project you want to tackle
