Hi everybody. I'm hoping somebody will have some insight.
Recently I installed a red Arc Tow Pro Liberty from etrailer.com with the auxiliary harness to connect it to the factory connector behind the left kick panel. I do not get any lights whatsoever on the control knob for the red Arc unless I press the control knob in like I'm activating manual brakes. Then I get a blue light that comes on stays on for a second or two and then fades out. When connecting to my trailer the brakes on the trailer do not operate at all. Today I removed the kick panel again just kind of looking around and I noticed that the connection point of the auxiliary harness to the factory plug the black wire is connecting to the blue wire and the blue wire is connecting to the black wire. To me this seems incorrect, it seems like maybe the wires are reversed in one of the connectors but I am unable to find a way to verify this.

Just looked at my installation and it is the same as yours, Black & Blue reversed.

Haven't done any trailering for a while, but all worked well at the time.

Have you hooked the trailer up and set the Redarc?

I've hooked it up, drove 2hrs with it last weekend. The redarc never recognized it. Even if I hit the manual brake button the trailer never responded. No flashing led lights for calibration or anything.

Got to make sure here, your trailer has a good battery and also has trailer brakes correct?

Next...Do you have lights on the trailer when hooked up?

Yes, good battery, lights and they all function as they should. It does have brakes, I'm thinking my next step may be to hook to a different trailer and see if it is recognized

Blue on tow brake connector is to trailer.
Blue on vehicle connector is from fused (40A) supply.
Seems towing brake module connector has wires inverted.
