2020 double cab sr5 v6 4x4 automatic

I painted my running boards with Rust-Oleum truck bed paint and now they stay dirty all the time..this type of paint leaves a rough textured finish. I think that's why it catches so much dust/dirt and then it can't escape they look good after you wash the truck but it's short lived...I regret painting them
