    Yeah.

I was able to pull off the retaining pins and little clips for my brake pads this Sunday, without the use of any tools.

That rust makes me think there are far bigger issues to worry about.

The OP's pictures are living rent free in my head giving me nightmares. In addition to the rust.. the corrosion on the beads of the alloy wheels... the wheels FFS. Forget the brakes, I wouldn't work on the wheels if I were a tire shop.

I'd have to wear a respirator just getting near that thing.

    Woah,...

Yeah, brake line is a must replace. The spindle is looking quite bad, I'd get someone to check out the frame as well. But back to brakes, fluid could be coming from anywhere but the line is the simplest most logical spot. I'd check the dust boots on the cylinders in the calipers and if they are compromised, I'd have the calipers rebuilt w/ a kit from Toyota. (Honestly, I replaced my front calipers completely instead. It was faster and not too expensive. I had a stuck piston on one side causing uneven brake pad wear.) I'd do the dust shields as well those are cheap too. ($23) I can't believe the rust... :(
