Hi,
Driver's side door wont close. The latch isn't holding around the striker plate rod. I figured it's broke and want to pull it out and take a look. Is it possible to remove the rod running down from the manual door lock or does that whole thing come out. Feels like that rod connection is really hard to get to. Difficult to get a good picture - talking about the connection on the end of the rod running inside this rectangular tube.
