Hey everyone. Doing the timing chain on my 3rz as I accidentally chipped a sprocket. I’ve heard that you can and can’t do it without pulling the head and was wondering how you guys did it. I’ve seen people just be really careful when pulling the timing cover to not damage the head gasket, has anyone done this? How was it re sealing (did head gasket hold? Did you use some rtv?)I really don’t want to pull the head if I can avoid it but if I have to then I will.
