I recently purchased the OME 2.5" lift kit that comes with the MT64 struts and springs.
My problem is, I can't find a spring compressor tool that will allow the strut the fit into the compressed spring due to the diameter of the MT64 strut. I've tried three different style compressors, and they all don't work due to the 'claws' sticking too far into the springs.

It seems to me, with my limited knowledge, that it needs to go on a press with the top har pre-installed and the whole assembly then compressed. Is this correct? If so, can anyone point me in the direction of a tool/press to get these things assembled?

I've also tried about 8 different local shops including '4x4' and 'offroad' specialists and they either won't do it, can't do it, or are 'booked out' several weeks and I'd have to drop them off and they'd "get to it when they get to it".
