Vehicle OCD center console divider, tray, and glove box organizer for 4th Gen Tacoma

Its been 12 years since Vehicle OCD (aka Salex) started here with the center console organizer for the Gen 2 Tacoma. Now we have designs in process for the 4th Gen Tacoma trio of organizers. Similar designs to what we offer on the

2nd Gen and

3rd Gen. The center console divider sits at the bottom of the console for the things you don't need as often. The center console tray hangs on the top edge of the center console and does not contact the divider below. The tray has TPE liners with a diamond plate texture to prevent items in the tray from slipping and rattling. The glove box organizer creates a shelf with 3 storage compartments below the shelf.

All products can be used together and we will be offering a boxed set. Here are the current prototypes. A few slight tweaks and we start cutting molds. We will continue to update this post as we make progress. Eventually providing ordering info and updated product photos.

Vehicle OCD is now part of Baselayer. All products are still designed, manufactured, and supported in the USA! Thank you for the many years of support.

Yes, the production versions will be black. The white material is from our 3D printer. The white is very helpful when verifying fit during development against the dark gray inside of the compartments.

Does your product have handgun fitment examples. The divider in the middle of the top tray is a problem. Possibly the depth of the tray as well. Are you going to comment for those of us that carry?

 

We will provide dimensions of each organizer product when available. We will not be providing fitment related to guns, phones, sunglasses, etc.

 

Are you providing a top tray with no divider in it?

 

No. Only the tray shown with the center divider. There is a large empty space in the bottom side of the armrest that would allow items to sit on top of the tray.

 

Here is an update on the 4th Gen organizers. We have been machining molds for the center console divider, glove box organizer, and console tray. This week we sampled the console divider and glove box organizer from the production molds. Things went well and parts look good. Now its finishing touches on the molds and start the production runs. The console tray mold is close behind to complete the set. Stay tuned for availability and ordering info. Thanks for your patience while we get this into production.

 

Oh, my wife will be all over this. She crams so much crap in the glovebox and rearranging everything to get it to fit if you take anything out is...a task.

Can you confirm whether the full set of owners manuals including the thick OEM leather case will fit into the upper (larger) slot in the glove box? Some reviews from other manufacturers are not accounting for this and they do not filter all together or the leather case is required to be removed due to too tight of a fit.

 

Good question! Yes, the OEM leather manual case will fit on the top shelf. It will not slide all the way to the back due to the wall taper and corner feature in the back of the glove box. I will follow up with pictures hopefully next week.

 

@LouDawgIII Here is the picture with the new glove box organizer and the OEM leather owners manual case. Production glove box organizer parts are running this week.

Wait, was I supposed to get a case for the manuals for the truck? I didn’t get one. The manuals are just stacked in the glovebox.

Maybe I need to go beat up my sales guy for one.
