Hi folks, been doing a ton of reading and one thing I haven’t been able to firm up is if the TRD Pro all weather mats will fit properly in a TRD Sport Dbl Cab AT - I did learn through a call to a dealer that they will refuse to sell me TRD Pro mats based on I own a Sport, which I was surprised to hear…..

The TRD Pro ones seem to have much less relief and more importantly extend all the way up the driver’s left foot rest area.

Where should a Canadian look to source these mats if they are a good fit?

    Thanks!

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Falken Rubitrek AT 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
Floor space/area should be identical. Aftermarket’s like husky fit all models (this is what I have). Seems like the aftermarket mats are larger and cover more carpet. Toyota is foolish for branding pro stuff and restricting sales (laughable to me). They seem to also do this with grilles. This is why we go elsewhere (at least I have).

Aftermarket has better coverage you say - that is important to me - I will revisit Husky and Weathertech. Thank you

You should definitely look around. Lots of mats and accessories discussed on this site. I chose husky but many prefer the other vendors and brands. Most choices I’ve seen offer larger front mats.

Has anyone got a picture of grey weathertechs in a black carpeted Tacoma ? I think it would look weird, but it would show a lot less of the sand/dirt....

I do……I’ll get a pic later this morning. I bought the set used. For about half what new cost was. I wasn’t sure I would like them, but with a silver truck, they work well

Thank you for posting these. I am still on the fence as my interior is all black, where as your seats have the center grey panel which helps make it work, imo. Still not sure what to do but I am better informed thanks to you…. :)

Thank you sharing your opinion. The weathertechs are currently shortlisted and last thing for me is colour selection

hey, no problem whatsoever. I hear what you mean, I don’t get much sand, but I get a lot of like limestone dust as our driveway at the shop is gravel. The mats says they are currently pretty darn filthy. I can see that they do hide quite a bit more of this limestone dust that gets tracked in than the factory 2023 Toyota all weather mats. Those black mats showed that dust quite a bit as well as the dusty footprints.

If you can swing the money, look at Tuxmat. Those have far and away the best coverage, and they have good cushion/sound insulation.

After that, the Husky x-act are far more popular than the weathertechs. I would buy them as a second option.

I went Husky x-act, happy & lately throwing my stock on top when I’m in & out @ Work, then when going to Big city or not working. I pull’n out & have semi clean mat’s.
