I also use the bookers boxes, but I haven’t bought bookers in years so I’m screwed very soon

Tonight I am having a store pick of some double oaked Woodford. It started with vanilla notes on the nose then chocolate. The oak on the pallate is delicious. I'm also picking up some cherry. I haven't had a Woodford I don't like (it is a favorite) but this one is extra tasty.

Can't remember if someone on here was talking about the double wheat OE. Ended up finding a 2022, so why not.

A couple of rear window decals...

I’ll have to look for that one, I liked their wheated bourbon. I really like sweet stuff so hopefully I’ll like the double wheat twice over.

Tried the EW SIB and it is very good for the price. Lives up to the hype in my opinion

I am a huge OF fan but I feel the youth and high proof of most their sib barrel strengths just doesn’t do it…OF juice (to me) is just so much more enjoyable proofed down. If you go back through most of their top tier offerings like birthday and presidents choice, none of them are high proof

I think we've had this conversation before and I totally agree. I enjoy the OF BS offerings but I add several large drops of water to get the best out of them. Old forester is best for me in that 95 to 110ish proof range.

It makes sense. I feel the same about Jack Daniels offerings too. The 10-12 year are better for me than the single barrel barrel proofs, just too much heat there. Haven't tried coy hill so I suppose there may still be an argument otherwise

I have tried to get acclimated to higher proof bourbon but I keep going back to 90-101 proof choices. Tonight I had a bit of blade and bow. The bottle has opened up nicely with the sweeter notes. The neck of the bottle was all lies and I'm enjoying it more and more the lower it gets
