I've been browsing the regional inventory and looked at about 200 trucks online. Haven't yet seen any with the stabilizer disconnect mechanism listed as an option. Does anyone know if they exist in the wild? I thought it would be popular option. Guessing maybe they're still working out the supply chain for that part.

There are a ton on allocation with may arrival dates. Sat down with my dealer and they even had some in build phase as well due in early May. They are coming but I haven't seen one in the wild.

From what I read somewhere else there may have been an issue with the SDM that needed to be sorted out

Thanks! After posting I found the allocation spreadsheets online, and there are 248 out of 5500 TRD OR with SDM, all expected in the next 0-5 months.

I ordered an allocation of TRD OR 6 speed manual with premium package and SDM. For some reason, they were unable to include the SDM. I said fine, and left it without. Maybe it had something to do with this? It doesn’t bother me but it may bother other people wanting that feature.

bumping this thread. Still not seeing the SDM option and we're almost done with May. Can anyone confirm they are having issues with the SDM and aren't offering it as an option with the current inventory?

It was over on the Tacoma4G forum: Although it looks like it hasn't been updated since April 8 and from what it sounds like it won't be updated. Someone also posted this alternative which seems to be accurate. However, it hasn't been updated since May 1. I think I called a dealer with the VIN I wanted and they confirmed it is in the build phase and allocated to them. I was able to put a deposit down on it but ended up changing to a short bed.

out of curiosity - is the SDM a shared part with the Land Cruiser?

perhaps the Cruiser is getting parts priority?

^Not likely the case. Usually Toyota will have different suppliers build the same/similar components colocated close to the respective assembly sites.
