    Any idea when the Toyota Stout will hit the U.S. showroom? I'd be very interested in seeing that truck. (OK, built on a RAV 4 platform)

    Just got a response from my local Toyota Dealer...."no information yet as to potential arrival of the Stout". I too would be very interested in taking a first hand look.
    The Stout looks like something between my old 2002 Tacoma PreRunner and my current (long in the tooth) 06 Tacoma Quad Cab TRD Off Road.

    Yeah, it's a Toyota and it won't cost $50k and get less than 20MPG, so people will be interested, but it will be a "truck" in name only. Never hurts to take a look.
