2012 Tacoma 5 speed. I’ve got a squeaky clutch I thought was coming from under the dash. I’ve sprayed and greased everything but the squeak comes back. I think it’s coming from the clutch fork ball under the truck near the drivers side door. There’s not real clear videos on this but I’ve read about putting grease on the points. It looks a little tricky to get to. I was wondering can you take the rubber boot off and spray some silicone lubricant in there without messing anything up with the clutch? Thanks

I wouldn't randomly spray silicone or any other grease around the clutch disk or pressure plate.
I would move the rubber boot and look to see where I could place some lubricant.

I was thinking that. It’s just hard to see up in there flat on the ground I’m gonna try and get closer tomorrow to see if I can see it better. I only seen one video where a guy sprayed heavy through the vent holes in the boot and I definitely knew that couldn’t be good. I was just curious if some lube got on the disc or plate if it would screw something up.

It wouldn't be good to get grease / oil etc... on the clutch disk or pressure plate.

Probably doable with a straw on a can of lubricant. I'd use something kinda tacky like white lithium grease spray. You'll likely tear the boot up a bit getting it off with the slave cylinder in the way. But with it removed you should be able to get a good shot at the pivot
