To me, it seems as though heavily loaded trucks are simply more suited to a simple link setup. Just so many damn variables with these trucks when it comes to weight etc. Reality is. A simple link setup probably wouldn’t cost a whole lot more than a full SUA with bypasses.

Not saying you won’t get it right. I’m sure Deaver will get it figured out. But then you have the issue of replacing a custom pack when the original claps out like they all do.

If you're having JD do their SUA setup with bypasses, you'll have a cross bar running against the bed wall between the two wheel wells which will eat up that space. Just a heads up.

Which is why I prefer to remove the Cab whenever possible.

Im currently working on a motor swap on this one. 2.7L missing Piston #4, all I saw was the top of the connecting rod when looking through the spark plug hole with a bore scope camera

Ford has been having terrible luck with their piston oil squirters. The check balls get all gunked up and stop squirting. This either locks up the rings with carbon deposits or just destroys everything.

What are the dimensions of the aux fuel tank? Or more, what are the dimensions of the box it fits in.

I don't know if they still offer two sizes but one extended below the frame by 6" (25 Gal) and one was 8" (31 gal) if I remember correctly. Instead of running the plastic tank you can also go to someone like Harmon (who JD recommends) for a custom. One of many reasons I appreciate JD is the amount of info provided in their descriptions. Most other companies don't provide any. They just say hear it is, and it is what it is.
