I think you mean 650# springs, stock is 600#. Someone snap this up, it's a good price. Good luck!

I’m really curious how someone one can get away with 350# coils on front. Stock coils on 3rd gen tacomas are literally twice that spring rate (712# as tested by Toyo), and most aftermarket springs start at 600#. I have 700# coils on my 2nd Gen that sits right at GVWR when loaded for long trips, having moved up from 600# coils that were dangerously light. Does Dobinsons provide any explanation for how they can get away with such a light spring?

Nothing I “rambled” about is incorrect. Your post title, though, is confusing.

I googled what you suggested. Your model coil spring has a compression rate of 730# per inch, which is makes much more sense than the “#350” written in the title.

I get why you wrote 350 since that’s a portion of the model number, but it’s confusing, and I’m not the first one here to be confused.

730#, though — your actual spring rate —is almost exactly the same as the OEM spring rate on 3rd Gen Tacos. So that makes sense.

~~FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO IS WONDERING: THE SPRING RATE IS 730#.~~

You’re welcome for not having to go to another website to look it up.

I've read about 500# and 550# coils in the front of a 2nd Gen and thought the same as @TomHGZ The 350# coil spring rate didn't make sense....even after reading Exit Offroads, dobinsons website, etc. Had to assume it was per inch...

Automotive coil springs are almost universally spec’d by their “per inch” compression rate. The springs this guy is selling are *730 lbs. per inch*. Not sure why he won’t post that in the sale listing.
