    With everyone following this thread and that epic engine teardown / rebuild / teardown / rebuild thread, we hardly have any time to argue over how often we should change the oil in our trucks.

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Now that makes sense. I'm so far removed from how vehicles are wired these days, yet this didn't make sense. Putting a fuse in the wrong slot explains it all.

    There are some damned helpful people on this site. Helps a person overlook the ones who rarely have anything good to add.

    Yes, fuses intercept other problems.
    They are almost never “the problem”.
