Why won’t my drive shaft slide onto the transmission shaft?

    Installing drive shaft on 2005 Tacoma why won’t my drive shaft the yolk slide into place on the transmission shaft. Can anyone help me?

    2nd this , throw up some pictures of the problem and someone else here has probably had the same problem at 1 time or another.

    Take a look at your splines on the drive shaft yoke, there is a double spline that has been filled from the factory. Now take a look at the splines on the out put shaft form the trans. There is a double gap on a section of the splines. Those need to be lined up for the shaft to slide on.

    I'm assuming everything else is correct here in terms of the correct drive shaft, angles and positioning.
