    Good morning,

I have some SPC UCAs, driver's side marked 2547211. I need new bushings, and want to make sure I'm ordering the right stuff - there have been a number of revisions it seems, and I can't find definitive answers.

I see 25476 is the rubber bushing kit for the 25470 UCAs - are these the same thing?

    Thanks!

Do you have some pics of the setup you currently have?

WHAEVER YOU DO... DO NOT.... i repeat DO NOT be fooled into the xAxis joint "upgrade"... i regret that i ever went that path from the specride bushings... im on my 4th set of xAxis joints in ~40k miles.

I just got off the phone w/ SPC. They call out 254030 as the replacements (xAxis, of course), and have none available and are backordered until unknown (of course). Truck needs them to pass inspection by the end of the month, of course.

I have the newer style forged ones, and it looks like they have the xAxis currently in them based on the profile of the bushing faces.

Can I put Specrides in these or are these new uppers xAxis only?

Yup those are fully forged, xAxis joint arms. They hold a lifetime warranty, if your joints have slop in them, have them ship you a full brand new arm under warranty (they will ship out arms to you with a deposit that gets refunded when they get your old arms back... I have had to do this 3x now). Sounds like you have had the same luck with xAxis joints that I have had.

They said 3 year warranty on bushings. Trying to dig up the old receipts to see if I'm still covered. This is turning into a monumental pain in the ass - not what I expected when I went "premium".

    Naw thats some bullshit. https://www.spcalignment.com/component/spc/?task=part_description&pid=25470

Right on their page, limited lifetime.

As you can tell im a bit bitter they STILL haven't fixed / changed the xAxis joints.

I went through two pairs of SPC arms due to X-axis bushings, waiting to get the 3rd set back so I can sell them. Went Accutune UCA this time around, my truck rubs a little more now as the adjustability isn't as great with the SPC's, but I was sick of dealing with them.

    As with you, very disappointed.

Just got off the phone again w/ SPC, cause I can't find the receipts (email provider changed, lost a bunch of old emails). He reiterated 3 years and also told me I'm S.O.L. if I can't find the receipt, since it's original purchaser only,

Spent an hour calling around to the places I might have ordered from, nobody answers the phone anymore. Wheeler's did, but it wasn't them. Sigh.

I'm... pretty much ready for this to be a shitshow.

Took a quick look at your build. Your tires should fit with stock UCAs right?

IF thats all you need I *think* I still have my stock takeoffs setting around somewhere. Roughly 70k mi on them. I could loan them out to you while you work with SPC warranty :notsure:

Their website seems pretty clear about ltd lifetime

Your better off swapping them to a different brand, spc ballbjoints and bushings suck.

The ball joints have been great in the nearly 100k miles I have put on them... its the damn xAxis joints that suuuuuck.

The next set that goes out, I am going to get measurements and find some OE style rubber bonded bushings to put in place then NEVER have to deal with xAxis joints again.

@deanosaurus Reach out to Jordan Pitkin ( jpitkin@specprod.com ) and explain the situation, hes been my go to guy with the 4 warranty claims I have had and has been very helpful and understanding.

Yo Headstrong is the shit. They found my invoice with partial info and even remembered some random stuff about the order from March of 2021.

If you end up finding bushings that work, publish that info. I don't want to do this again. I got a little more mileage out of them than you did but not by a ton.

Significant slop after less than 18k pavement miles. Archaeological dig to find the receipt, or cut my losses? Set of Accutunes is not much higher than what the local shop wants to charge for bushing replacement - C$300 just for the bushings themselves!!

Just adding to the list here, I've had the forged SPC's on for about 1.5y, 20k miles, lots of slop in the bushings. Looking for a replacement soon. Anyone had any success on getting new ones from SPC? I know it will be more of the same, but I want my money's worth.

I've read spc uca replacement bushings are hard to procure.

Specride has been discontinued and XAxis is on perpetual backorder.

    Do what I did.

Get full replacement SPC Arms and ball joints under warranty. Get some other brand or go back to stock, send spc back your shit arms. Make them pay for an alignment (they will pay up to 100$ for such) and sell off the brand new spc arms on marketplace and never deal with SPC arms again.

Checking back in here - bushings on the new/new-new SPC arms are not worth screwing with at all.

I ditched them and went to Dirt King tubular. The hyperadjustability was absolutely not required and I can rebuild the DKs with a wrench and a bench vise, with standard components.
