Had owned a lot of Toyotas in the past, diverted recently to a Ford. Now with the new re-design of the Tacoma, a proud owner of a 2024 SR5. At 6’4”, had difficulty fitting in previous generation Tacomas. This one has an amazing amount of headroom. No major mods planned other than installing a Truxedo Truxport tonneau cover.

Congrats! Hope you enjoy it. Can I ask (before about 8,000 other members ask) how much you paid and what packages are on it? Does it have powered rear sliding window, power seats, etc.... ? I DO like that color!

I opted for no packages per se. One thing Ford had going for it was the option(s) to customize the vehicle - wish Toyota would do that. I despise the obstructive view and “utility” of the powered back window so I opted for a basic package to not have that.
But has what I need: blind spot & cross traffic alert (which are now standard), carplay, LED lights. Also, I like that it doesn’t have running boards, as my shins usually hit them while getting in. No power seats either. And I transferred over my Garmin dashcam - much needed for South Florida drivers.

Nice truck. Ford is crap. All the junk they offer in packages is offset by all problems they have with things that matter. Can you sense I was the owner (not by choice was my wifes) of a 13 ecoboost with turbo and water pump death and a 14 150 (also not by choice) with the wheel lockup of death issue? Congrats on coming back from the dark side lol

Sticker price was 41.9K for the basic SR5 in Miami area. Could have travelled further north in Florida and saved a little more, but paid for the convenience of having it come to my local dealership.
