I have been hunting a source for one of these gaskets, but cannot locate a new one. My truck came with a cheapo K&N knockoff, and I'm currently assembling parts to put the airbox back to stock. The very last thing I'm missing is this gasket.

Would anyone here have one that could tell me thickness and suggest a material type to just cut one out of?

I'd just make one....I'd find thinnest close cel foam sheet I could.

think this is like 1/8 or 1/16......make a template from cardboard first and transfer.

    CIMG5281.jpg

that doesn't get hot or stressed....and no solvents...

or even one of those silicone bake accessories from 99cent store...

I even have super thick plastic coated cardboard mailers from car dealers....ect..

Well, that would have been nifty if the previous owner used that kit. Instead they dremeled the MAF housing to remove the air box side bolt flange. I had to track down a used replacement.

I’ll order one of these tonight and check it out. $12 is certainly worth experimenting with.

    Thanks!! I appreciate it.

I would even consider couple layers of duct or zip tape exacto knifed out.
