When you are towing does the back squat and nose come up? It's most likely caused by the angle that the sensor reads changing. I don't know if I agree with the dealer saying nothing to worry about, any time there is a fault light like that, it means the system doesn't work so do not rely on them.

Pretty simple, do you have so much weight on the trailer hitch that the front of the truck is lifting up when the trailer is hooked up? The other guy is asking that because if that is the case, that could be why you are getting the error about the pre-collision which is the front sensor on the grille. That one will go haywire if too much lift is installed also, and a heavy trailer not balanced right could cause the same.

If the rear end is squatting which it most certainly would be with that kind of weight and either no weight distribution hitch or and impoperly set up WDH then it will make the nose of you truck angle upward and may cause problems with the PCS

OP take pics of the truck and trailer loaded from the side, while on level ground.

The rear is squatting pretty good as suspected. When the rear is forced down that much,,, the front comes up, which could very well be your issue, the pre collision sensor is in the front grill. I would bet the truck is bottoming out in the rear and zero fun to drive. The axle on that trailer look pretty far back, I am sure it's very easy to frontload that trailer.

Either way, that setup needs help. You need air bags or rear springs and more than likely a weight distribution hitch too (or properly adjusted after the truck's rear springs are addressed, if you already have one).

Bag the rear and level it when you tow.

Don't just bump stop it, all you are doing is limiting the rear axles articulation on uneven road surfaces.
