What are you doing for TPMS when you swap out the OEM wheels and tires?

You might have to get new sensors & have them programmed. You might also, be able to get by with the old ones.

I'd just replace. I recommend Discount Tire.

Yeah, Discount tire doesn't offer that when buying wheels and tires, have to order them separately. Nobody around Memorial day weekend to answer questions.

Tire Rack offers the option to add new sensors. Not sure how to program them. Probably in the book somewhere.

Just have your tire shop swap the sensors over to the new wheels. Cheapest option

I throw the TPMS sensors in a cottage cheese container and they sit on a shelf in my garage... and then I stick a sticker over the aggravating light on the dash. The TPMS is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever seen on a car for all kinds of reasons.

Put the sensors in a durable air tight container, and use epoxy to glue in a valve stem into it. Add some air, and stash the container somewhere in your truck. No more light on your dash.

I plan on getting a set of winter wheels and oem sensors. Apparently the 24s can support 2 sets of sensors.

Try TPMS.com. I guess Chrysler Corp. or whomever owns them this week, must have a patent on their system. It is all automatic. No need to program new ones or when you rotate tires. Otherwise I can't figure why everyone doesn't have such a simple no fuss system.

Same. Keeping the OEM wheels and tires, so deciding whether to swap out sensors to the new wheels, or just buy new sensors for the new wheels. Yes, the manual says you can have two sets programmed.

Very little value to do something unnecessary by overcomplicating a "solution" to a problem that doesn't exist is exacting why I don't find TPMS sensors worth having. So you just go right ahead, Buckwheat...

If a car or light duty vehicle under 10,000 lbs is manufactured after September 1, 2007, the vehicle is required to be equipped with TPMS.
