Headunit canbus question

    Hey folks!

    I just landed a 2012 access cab that has the non touch factory radio with the backup camera in the rearview mirror.

    I'm looking to purchase an android headunit, but I see that some come with canbus units and some do not.

    Does anyone know if my truck needs one? Are there any tell tale ways of knowing?

    I've installed a few other headunit in my other (2002) tacoma and mr2, and neither needed canbus.

    I'm just not sure about this 2012.
