Got a blown hzd turn fuse after changing headligh housing. Both the rh and lh at bulb connection show power is grounded. Is that a obvious sign of bad turn signal flasher or any other easy way to narrow it down other than tearing into loom?

Does it still blow with the connectors unplugged at the bulbs?

I also tried disconnecting 7 way trailer plug at connector and it still pops fuse with bulbs plugged in

So it doesn't blow when they are both unplugged?

Then there's something wrong with those assembiles.

Thanks for the help.To be clear your saying both the lh and rh circuits have short to ground not a bad relay?
Well nvm just plugged in old turn signals and it must be the new lens in headlight assembly that's blowing fuse.
    Thanks again

I mean if you plug the bulbs in and it blows the fuse and it worked fine with the OE bulbs then the new bulbs are shorted.
