Be ready for some frustration if you're on PC. It doesn't play well with Win 10/11 (in fact it won't even launch). You have to do some tweaking and a couple mods to get it to run.

Hunter, this one is a .357 Magnum. Launching out of an 18” barrel they pick up about 500 fps over revolver velocity. It will do good work on 2 and 4 critters.

Good luck with the shotgun hunt, shottys are another favorite of mine. If you’re looking at a tactical type shotgun, check out the Beretta A300 Patrol. They aren’t cheap but it’s a really nice gun that checks a lot of boxes.

Josh, those Mad Pig guns are nice and really showcase how far you can take a lever action. That said, it’s really not my thing. I’ve got a stable of AR's- work guns from my policing days and a 16” set up for 2 gun shooting competitions so I'm not looking to make my lever actions look like them. I’ll add some stuff to enhance their capabilities just not full on rails and skeleton stocks.

You must have looked at .45-70 ammo prices lol. They are proud of that stuff! I bought a few boxes of that for another project gun yesterday, cost me a couple of Benjamins.
