How far does dipstick seat into tube??

    99F2D14F-B5BE-43F1-ADE3-012728039941.jpg Was checking my oil today and noticed the dipstick didn’t seem to make a very positive purchase into the tube. This truck has had dealership oil changes it’s whole life (maybe a mistake, I know). I plan to start doing them myself, especially since the dealer rates have gone up substantially. I’m looking to see if other folks with the 2TR-FE can compare the photo below to their trucks to see if there’s any difference? I feel like there’s another inch to go maybe and by having it in the wrong position will lead to incorrect oil levels. The outside of the dipstick tube has a little surface rust but I can’t see any deformation on the inside that would prevent the dipstick from seating all the way. Curious what other people think or if this has happened on anyone else’s 4 cylinder?
