I have an '18 TRD Sport DCSB with stock head unit and I just learned Toyota isn't supporting the Entune stuff anymore. Heck, the support site won't even let me submit mine as it only goes back to 2020. Is there a way to upgrade/update the software? I'd like to use android auto for long trips.

You’ll need to find a newer head unit or go aftermarket. Do you have the non jbl or do you have the jbl?

You'll need a new headunit, preferably a name brand like alpine, pioneer etc.

The website has a wizard that will show you what you need, harness, trim, steering wheel adapter etc.

You wont miss the entune when you have a decent headunit with all android auto functions and better sound output.

JBL has logos on the door speakers.

It’ll say Jbl in the middle bottom of the head unit and like @Bishop84 said it’ll say jbl on the door speaker covers.

    It's a non-JBL.

That being the case , it’ll be an easy upgrade . Just depends on what you’re looking for and how much you wanna spend.

    This guy gets it.

Do you think you'd want to add any amplifiers?

Either way I reckon upgrading the stock speakers while you're doing this isn't a bad idea.

I went a little all out with mine, I had most of the stuff anyway from my old truck.

At the time I had a Pioneer or Alpine single DIN head unit. This wouldn't apply for you being that I bet you have a backup camera, but....

Doors (front only, single cab) Rockford Fosgate 1" tweeter and 6x9 (cut the doors to add those) with crossovers.

Pair of MTX 12" subs in a custom made box for the truck.

Megaloud amp for the doors, JBL for the subs.
