Hello all, I am having trouble trying to sift through everything out there about setups. I have a 2011 Tacoma with a 4” lift in the front and no lift in the back (brought it this way) but I do tow once every couple months and I am also a carpenter and carry a lot of tools around everywhere I go can someone point me in the right setup direction? TIA

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
Welcome. I don’t even own a Tacoma but 4in lift on Toyota ifs is generally a lot.. I wouldn’t imagine it steers very well especially while towing.

    A) Remove lift in the front, go back to stock..

    b) hopefully adjust front height with existing parts (depending on parts to reduce rake, if it is a 4in kit does it have a different cross member, possible spindles?)

    c) buy a rear lift kit and make it more level?

if you are towing or carrying some weight you might look to some beefer springs or AAL in the back..

    Any photos?

The front lift is a quality kit spindle and different crossmember. But I’m more so just looking for suggestions of which leaf springs to go with. I know for certain I need new leafs and rear shocks. I’m also starting to think AAL is a for certain

10/4! Didn’t know your goals, let others with leaf sprung trucks help you there!

Go with Dobinsons L59-112-R plus L59-111-R add-a-leaf kit from Exit Offroad. These are the heaviest duty springs I could find. They will message you warning you it could be a rough ride. For me the ride is great even with the truck empty not towing. I would leave the front lift kit on and see how it looks and performs after installing the leaf springs, especially if your front kit is full coilovers and not just spacers. If you remove the lift from the front you will almost for sure have too much rake. With keeping the front lift it might end up just right. Please do not use body spacers in the rear. Front strut spacers seem to be fine.
